This is where we contemplate both the deep and existential questions:   Which weekly house-made jam flavor is better: the Clementine or Strawberry – Rhubarb?  (You’ll have to come in to try the newest, freshest, seasonal flavor!) Or …What is the exterior color of Petit Chou?? — Hint, it rhymes with twinkle.

What are your hours of operation?

Currently we are open 7 days a week from 9 AM – 3 PM, serving fresh breakfast and lunch.   OPENING AT 8 AM ON SATURDAY 11/06/2021 FOR CHOMP!

Dinner service has returned : Thursdays – Saturday 5 PM – 10 PM. The menu changes seasonally and we are so looking forward to its return.

When do you stop serving breakfast?

Breakfast items are available every day until 3 PM.  On Saturday and Sunday we have a special Brunch menu but it includes all of our breakfast items.

What kind of food do you serve?

We consider our menu a mix of French and Southern cuisine… our kinda comfort food. Each menu item is created thoughtfully and carefully of locally sourced produce and goods.  Breakfast is more Southern and Dinner more French.

…And yes we have a full liquor license.

Are you truly French food?

Lots of people post their opinions, but interestingly most guests from France say we are the most French of restaurants they have found in Atlanta.   So if you are looking for the “classic” American French restaurant, that is not us, but if you are looking for local experience in a neighborhood restaurant where the ingredients are fresh and the seasoning harkens to Provence then welcome.

Where do you source your food?

Not sure we have enough space here for a full discussion, but from all over.  Our milk and cream come from Southern Swiss Dairies in Waycross.  Our coffee from our friends in Savannah and PERC Coffee.  Honey we pick up when we visit Mom in Tallahassee from Weeks Honey in Omega.   Martin Collin ships our Maple Syrup from his family farm in Vermont.  Greens and Mushrooms come from a variety of farms and the farmers market. D’Artagnan supplies our bacon, ventreche, charcuterie and duck. Pastries and bread come from Alon’s Bakery and Meredith bakes our homemade items (rugelah, lemon bars, key lime pie, chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies) …..  We try to source responsibly because we all benefit by purchasing better products and supporting friends and neighbors

Do you take reservations?

We would love to have you and your besties at Petit Chou!! We do accept reservations for Dinner and parties of 6 or more for breakfast and lunch during the week (470) 270-8996.   We are unable to accept reservations for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday.  Please contact  Chef Garrett at ChefGarrett@PetitChouATLcom about options for large parties, catering or renting the facility.

Why are your chairs and bar stools so heavy?

South of Urban helped hand craft and create our vision of the perfect chair and barstool.

We were tired of chairs and bar stools that fell apart and felt flimsy.  We were just tired of chairs and bar stools being an after thought.  And we had difficulty finding chairs/bar stools that would add to the décor.

Consequently, our chairs and bar stools are solid and molded by local craftsman so you can sit comfortably during your entire dining experience.
